Font Troubleshooting
For Windows
This website uses Dynamic Fonts
to display Indian languages. This means you should not need to download any
fonts. However, we do occasionally receive feedback that the fonts are not visible.
If you have problems viewing the Indian language scripts, you could try the
following steps:
Netscape Users (Netscape 4.03 to 4.76)
Internet Explorer
IE 5.5 to 6.0
IE
4.0 to 5.0
Download Fonts (if nothing else works)
For Linux
Linux users
will need to download the font. Please follow instructions given.
If you have root permission
If you do not have root permission

IE 5.5 and IE 6.0 do not display the Indian language fonts
correctly. This is due to some changes made in their display parameters. We
do not have a solution to this problem, though we are working on it. Please
bear with us.

If you have these browser versions and still cannot see
Indian language scripts, then:

Download Fonts (if nothing else works)
If you are still facing problems viewing
any of the Indian language scripts, please download the appropriate fonts.
The word "Arjuna" appears in the appropriate
script beside the language options. If you cannot see the word appear properly
you should download the font. Click on the language you wish to use, to download
the required font and "Run" the downloaded ".exe" file.
Each individual file size is around 175K. These fonts have been created at CDAC.
Free download of these fonts is also available from the CDAC
site.
